Water Treatment System – How to Find the Best Water Treatment System For Your Home

Let’s face it… drinking healthy water is essential to good health. I don’t know if you are aware of what is in your local tap water but all over the country, most tap water is contaminated with a variety of chemicals including herbicides, pesticides, and prescription drugs. The water is “treated” at a wastewater plant with chlorine, which only worsens the quality of the water since chlorine is known to be harmful to health. The only way to avoid poisoning yourself with tap water is by investing in a water treatment system.

There are many kinds systems out there. First you have to choose between reverse osmosis, point-of-use distillation, and carbon block/granular carbon filters. Studies show that neither reverse osmosis nor distillation can remove the synthetic chemicals found in tap water and must be used in conjunction with a carbon filter to be effective. So obviously the best option for a water treatment system is the carbon block filtration system because it is effective on its own.
