Tap water has never been and never will be one hundred percent clean. Nowadays it is even more unlikely for that to happen due to the great number of impurities that are dumped in our water.
Water cleaning plants cannot do their job since they are old and obsolete therefore we have to solve this problem ourselves. Simply avoiding drinking water from your kitchen faucet is not a solution, as long as you keep using it for cooking and for showering.
Some people consider that doing just that will protect them from the harmful elements that exist today; however, we all know that is no true.
The only solution that remains today is to purchase some sort of water treatment system. A water treatment system is supposed to filter your water before it reaches (or when it reaches) your kitchen faucet, so that anything that falls in your sink will be pure, clean water.
Best water treatment can only be obtained by taking into consideration the numerous facts that are a part of the issue – this means that it is not only sufficient to pick a water treatment system; you also have to take into consideration your actual needs.
Not all water treatment systems that you can find on the market are designed for the same purpose – for example, some of them may be designed to filter out chemical particles, while some of them may be designed to filter out any unwanted biological factors such as viruses and bacteria. Depending on the type of water that flows in your kitchen sink, you should be able to find the right water treatment system.
The thing is, the best water treatment occurs when all issues associated with dirty tap water is resolved and water quality remains high.
I would recommend staying away from reverse osmosis systems and pure water distillers. Both have their own problems with ultra pure water – the first one does not even manage to remove all chemicals from the water before it makes it stale, with no minerals or salts.
After all can you put a price on good health? Why worry day in day out about the risks of chemicals and harmful contaminants in your water when there is a fantastic selection of filtration and purification systems out there to ensure peace of mind.
